In 2026, the Association Management Committee has agreed to a review of the Constitution and to amend or re-write it.

If you have thoughts about changes or additions desired, please tell your local Branch committee so that suggestions can be fed through to the Association Committee.

Note: After receiving advice from the office of The Commissioner of Consumer Protection within the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety – we must base our revised Constitution on their latest set of “Model Rules”.

Amendments to the Constitution were accepted by a more than 75% majority of members representing all three branches at a Special General Meeting held on the 21st November 2022.

The W.A. Government Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety – Consumer Protection Division has accepted all modifications to the Rules and the Amended Constitution is now in effect as of 7th March 2023.
